Understanding Genocide: Examining the International Convention on Genocide

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP

Our 5 week workshop will examine the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide.

By the end of this workshop, participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of the International Convention on Genocide, its historical context, legal implications, and practical applications through a combination of lectures, case studies and group discussions.

Finish: Saturday, 2 March 2024

Day & Time: Saturdays, 10.30am - 12.30pm

Duration: 5 Weeks

Location: Teams/ Zoom

There will be two hour hour meetings once a week (10 contract hours in all) which will include discussions, exercises (optional), and workshops.

Groups of five or more students applying together, can select a course start date and time that is convenient to them.
